We deal with departments across the whole business, letting us see Plusnet from many different team’s perspectives. In turn, this allows us to manage the various challenges, risks and issues on a project, making sure workstreams are aligned to the project objectives. We really feel that our role at Plusnet allows us to help influence the businesses strategic roadmap.
Our key objectives are to improve the customer experience and drive down operating costs across the technical support function. Our day-to-day activities vary massively. One day we can be doing advisor process reviews, design and deployment and the next we’ll be writing software requirements and conveying our vision to the team who’re responsible for building it! The work can be wide reaching and varies all the time. We’ve worked on some large initiatives and have played a key part in making some big cost savings for the business.
Everyone you talk to at Plusnet shows the desire to want to succeed. It’s a really great and enjoyable place to work. The free food, broadband and TV doesn’t go amiss either!
We’re most proud of getting the award for the Cost Saving Champion of the Year. A lot of hard work and fantastic people receptive to the challenge and change yielded some impressive cash savings for Plusnet. Definitely a big team effort to get that one!
