Plusnet has an amazing ethos. They really look after their staff and the ability to progress is amazing. We have the privilege to work with other teams in the business, such as our Marketing and Social Media teams. Everyone really supports each other and there aren’t many companies where you can say that you’re part of a family and where the Senior Management team will pop on the floor and have a chat with you!
At Plusnet we adopt a focused yet relaxed and fun attitude, making complicated matters about fixing line faults seem easy. It’s a truly fun place to work, with a relaxed dress code and fancy dress days on special occasions, whilst remaining focused on providing the best customer service.
Our team member’s opinions matter. Every so often we attend regular business meetings to explain other areas of the business. Our actions do affect the company on the whole and we can use our creativity and problem solving skills to deliver the best help to customers. Whilst being a large company with almost one million customers, it still manages to feel like a small, warm and friendly company. We’re proud to work here!
Our typical day-to-day activities involve; working on the phones bringing new customers into the business, retaining existing customers, helping customers move their service when they’re moving house and selling our fabulous TV products. We also support other advisors when they need help and covering new teams when they come out of Grad Bay, where required. Aside from these, we also work on recruitment Open Days, helping bring new people into the business and working on company incentives.
The shifts we have are great, as they allow for a good work / life balance. Also the pay is amazing, which will appeal to people that are money-orientated. We’re a supportive team - it feels like we’re part of a family!
